TRADDY FUN & USELESS HATS

Is that a potato in your pocket or are you to see Us?

Annual Prelatial Potato Gun Shoot at the FSSP seminary. Holy boys playing with manly toys.

And don't forget Father's Useless Hats For Primping Chaps Drive.  These boys need the proper costumes for their Live Action Liturgical 1940's Reenactment gatherings.

What better way to thumb our noses at the Holy Father than to help young budding soon to be preening priests look their best.

(Remember boys to hide your toys until after the Chrism dries on your hands lest you be deselected and forced to search out a Roman Subterranean Diocese to ordain you. It's not the easy path. )

  1. Whose the guy in the picture wearing purple? He should be reported to Francis' Temple Police...Oh! Francis has no Temple Police.

  5. Did anyone else catch the sage advice that Miss Morlino gave to his syncophants about making Christmas more meaningful for children and families?
Have the kids be silent and read them Christmas Carols.
WOW! He must have stayed awake nights thinking of that advice.

  6. Prepper John waited over an hour on the tarmac for a gate - so long that he said Matins and Lauds or at least he posted his accomplishment for all to see.

    Matthew 6:6
But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Zagat keeps his destination a secret, as usual. Is this another trip for Messrs R. and R.?

    1. Our friend "Deaconette" waxed eloquent on Z's airport nonsense a month or two ago. You'd think he'd take the reprimand to heart, but you'd be wrong.

    2. I'm glad you enjoyed that because I am extra proud of that post. Most of it was part of an address I gave in another place and context, but Father Z and his entitled bullshit at the airport really offend me because I spend so much of my time in them and trust me when I tell you that Concourse C is the road to Emmaus.

Quaeritur: What kind of person orders a hamburger and that gets pissed that it takes time to cook a ground beef sandwich? Dicendum: What kind of person has a Zuhliocentric model of the cosmos?

I'm under no illusions that anything I say will change Z. (I do know that he read that entry, though.) He's thoroughly convinced he makes no mistakes and from his extensive self-conferred expertise he would tell you I'm just persecuting him out of my wickedness. That kind of hyper-defensiveness is a hallmark of the grandiose narcissist. A part of me that isn't annoyed by his bullshit is sad for the lonely life he must be leading.

    3. Someone who is that narcissistic never gets lonely. They are used to being the only person on the planet, who is of any importance.

      Delete
    4. I see where you're going with that thought but it's not the case. Narcissists are deeply insecure and if they are not being admired by their authority figures they're very anxious and lonely. It's an important point because if a narcissist realizes they need professional help to deal with loneliness or grief, you have an entry for treating the narcissism. They are toxic people but we still should have some empathy for them.

Z is filling up his loneliness with sycophantic blog followers and the esteem of angry traddies but it's a poor substitute for the kind of intimacy that all good friendships are made of. He's lonely, count on that, but his stunted psychosexual development will get in the way of ever dealing maturely with that obstacle. Meanwhile we have to deal with an angry, malignant personality and the harm he does, so it's very hard to find that empathy.

Still, try. It's good for us to try.

  7. Another few thousand $$ss will lift the Lard out of the matinee depression:

    Steamroller
Posted on 18 December 2016 by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf
I had a note the other day. It included a frustrated phrase and list:

"Steamroller. That’s the right image. Exaltation and exaggeration of Amoris, feckless bishops, seminarian repressions renewed, undermining Summorum, synod idolization, devolution danger, homosexuals, deaconesses, intercomnunion hucksters, admiration of Luther, global warming zombies, just war deniers, immigration fanatics, capitalism haters, cassock attackers, and now Canadian bishops nod to euthanasia.

    Steamroller?

How about …? Tanks (screen shot of Chinese man facing down tanks)

Yep. I admit it. This is how I have often felt these days. I have. And it is really grinding me down. I also have in my mail box notes from people who are truly shaken and anxious. Not a few notes. Hence, I know that I am not alone, which is both consoling and alarming at the same time."

  8. Zeppelin casts a shadow over New York:

On Saturday evening, there was an Advent “O Antiphon” dinner sponsored by the traditional council of KCs associated with Holy Innocents parish in midtown.
In any event, the next morning it was off to the Met. If someone is wondering where I might be at a given moment in NYC, a good guess is either inside or at the hot dog cart outside.
[I would love to see a photo of Z snapping this photo]

I noticed a detail which I still need to verify[IMPRESSED?] but seemed ominous and ghastly.
It is hard to see, but it looks like she is holding between her pinchers a single hair.

If that is so, then she is in ecstasy over her post-mortem torment of the Baptist. [Um, try looking at her face, Z]
Remember that John was killed partly because he said to the world something which could be a contemporary point of discussion: No, you may not have that woman as your wife.

So far so good. Today brings errands. I am meeting a friend for lunch and movie. I must stop at certain shops, including the place where I buy incense for the parish.

    1. What's even more hilarious is that the Dullard constantly fails at English expression, spelling and general composition and yet, the Lizard Brain is forever nagging others of all of the above. He clearly doesn't even know how the difference between 'interred' and 'interned' or has he been mummified all along?!
Whatever of that, all the indications are that he is well and truly stuffed, in more ways than one.

    5. OP here. I have known several UGCC priests and deacons who survived the Soviet gulags.

THAT is why this bullcrap offends me. I have heard the stories of these priests and deacons who's ministries surpasses in 1 day what Z has accomplished in 11 years. I am unfortunately moving to the ecclesiastical territory of the Diocese of Madison soon, and I am afraid of what Z and M have in store for me out there.

  11. Miss Zuhlsdorf... Keep talking you miscreant. You trivialize people who have really suffered by comparing Clinton Democrats to "Communists". Priests who served in WWII along with others who have suffered in the Gulags are my life's inspiration, not a silly lace dress wearing twat as you.

  13. Here's a great example of the kind of subtle subversion that Lard Ass either doesn't comprehend or can't do anything about because the author might have a little too much wood on him to delete or edit out of existence. Polycario is, I think, pouring sugar into the Dullard's gas tank.

    Polycarpio says:
    22 December 2016 at 3:48 PM

"I have always maintained and am not dissuaded from this view, that a lot of people read too much into these curia Christmas greetings. I don’t think Francis sees the curia as his enemies, but as his allies, and rather than lecturing them, he sees himself as preaching to the choir. Thus, the “illnesses” speech was not “the illnesses you all have,” but the illnesses out there that you must avoid and immunize yourselves against. Additionally, when he is talking about “resistance”, etc., everyone will assume that he is talking about Burke and the dubial four, but I don’t. He is talking about resistance to curial reform, and on curial reform, he does not see himself as at loggerheads with these folks (which is why I knew that he was NOT going to mention the dubia in this speech). On curial reform, he feels he has a mandate, that the cardinals want him to do this, and these curial folks are there to assist him on this mission. I think that if you misunderstand that, you are likely to misread the entire pontificate."
