ACTION ITEM: God Smotes Iowa with Deluge

Reports are flooding in from Iowa.

I have a STRONG SUGGESTION to the BISHOPS of the areas that are affected by floods.

It sounds as if the pastors of the area and their assistant bishops, the bishops – ESPECIALLY the diocesan bishop! – and religious priests of the region should get out their copy of the traditional Rituale.

Fathers… Bishops… put on all your gegear it's time to "lace up", get some people together, have them bring their talismans and blessed lucky BINGO charms, get out there and PRAY!

One, two, three, four; these are not the droids you're looking for.
Rain, rain go away and bother someone else today.

For some reason, God has decided to punish the state of Iowa with severe rain and potential flooding so we must do all we can, even breaking out the Olde Rituale and recite the Invicato contra omnia...
way; bother someone else today.

  2. I don't quite understand prayers for the avoidance of natural disaster. Expressed as a limerick, here is the problem with that:

    Our God, some contend, is immutable;
and their faith is, indeed, irrefutable
If He does what He should,
    They'll say, "He is good."
If not, "His ways are inscrutable."

    1. Father Z goes at it again...

Put on all your best gear. Get some people together. Get out your copy of the older, traditional Roman Ritual and…

PRIESTS AND BISHOPS… ESPECIALLY BISHOPS… PRAY AGAINST THAT STORM!

Use the old Roman Ritual and pray the Litany with the deprecatory prayers against storms. A procession could be done even in doors… even with a very few.

You don’t have to be directly in the line of the storm to pray for others!

Could someone please tell Deaconette why bishops especially? Do they have extra weather-averting ontological occult powers?

    2. Of course We have special powers by virtue of Our ordination. Haven't you read the block buster book Science of the Sacraments?

    3. I have not. Spark Notes, please?

  3. When "educated" people still see portents in natural weather events, you know that you have entered into the land of crazy.
Lacy-boy knows that it is all bullshit, but knows how to whip up his base into a frenzy of fear.
Nothing like fear to keep them sending in CASH !

  4. Since every flood in recorded history (including Noah's mythical biggee) receded naturally, why not take credit for pronouncing the right magic words over the situation?
    Hey! You can't lose.

  5. There hasn't been an "assistant" (auxiliary?) bishop in Iowa for decades--might that be why the floods came?
I can't find any religious houses of priests in Iowa.
Might Zed be starting (a on paper only) one up on the border between Wisconsin and Iowa?
In that case it might be years before the jurisdictional disputes are settled as to what particular bishop(s) can regulate the cash flow.
Zed must have met up with a made guy in the Chicago Outfit.

    3. While not primarily priests, the Trappist maintain their monastery outside of Dubuque. The Precious Blood Fathers have no house, but they staff parishes at least in the Davenport Diocese. The Benedictines, Franciscans and the Redemptorists left over ten years ago. I don't know of any others.

Franklin was the last auxiliary bishop in Iowa before he became Davenport's bishop in 1996.

    4. Zed meant an "assistant" priest at a Solemn High Mass who wears a cope and who jams up the altar area instead of bringing communion to the old timers without clout in nursing homes.

    5. There was a con working a "religious" priest scam years ago---he was neither a religious nor a priest. Started out in Wisconsin, then Iowa.
I don't think Zed would ever be in contact with a crazy like that, because the scam was for money and (pre-Francis) status.

    6. ...he was also in Illinois and Minnesota now in Missouri, also places Zed never goes to.
Some sort of Very Right Reverend Third Degree Rubber Smile Brylcreem Abbot, also a place Zed never goes to.

    7. yea, Ryan St. Anne Scott, alias Dean Stocks, alias Randal Dean Stocks. One of the few bullshit artists in the Traditionalist, Sede Vacantist, Draco sit mihi Dux, movement/watch/still in Saigon cons that really dig up on Old Timers' cash.
Was even adopted by an elderly woman when he was in his 50's--of course with power of attorney as a good son would need to be to take care of Mom's estate.

    11. Rubber smiles and Saigon: Haven't heard about Tony (Big Tuna) Cedaka (Sedaka?) from Zed for a while. Wasn't the non-wrapped fish in Wisconsin.

      Delete
    12. I don't think Sedaka was smart enough for the "Saigon ordination con". Sedaka probably went to France to dodge the draft.
Besides, any action originating out of "Indochina" was probably CIA middle management scams as the war was winding down.
      See the movie American Gangster.

    13. Cekada is in Ohio but uses his music training (organ not guitar!?) to teach Brylcreem canon law in Florida without ever mentioning the Vietnam war since that was after Vatican II.
He did flip a Franciscan in Illinois though.

      Delete
    14. The Senility and Cash Scam:
Gevelinger (or whatever he goes by now)stated he was ordained by an Iowa bishop who was at that time elderly and had Alzheimers.
Sedaka and the 90 year old Franciscan were involved with an elderly (Alzheimers?) Vietnamese bishop--PTSD free?--who was the brother of the CIA ousted President Diem in 1963.
.....At lease nowadays in some states, Illinois for sure, the sentence is higher for crimes against persons over 60.
It takes balls to fight someone on equal terms.

      Delete
    15. If the said Bishop was 90 years of age wouldn't he be then retired? If retired does he still have the capacity to perform an ordination?

      Delete
    16. He was in the US as a refuge.
A bishop can ordain at any age if he has permission from whatever diocese he resides in, but I think besides Alzheimers the Vietnamese was AWOL--it's the three card monty only but the scam is with people instead of cards; and as usual the cons made their move.A scam might be "If you do this (ordination), the CIA will have the US come back to Vietnam and oust the badguys and the corrupt Catholic Diem regime will flash again".........the Franciscan was in his 90's but not a bishop, the Vietnamese bishop was 87 when he died. They were all old, lonely men.
You need 3 things for valid sacraments: Form, Matter and Intention to do what the Church teaches.
The only witnesses to intention--now that they are dead are the cons and their surrogates who buy into the con.

      Delete
    17. ....the Iowa bishop with the fake Abbot/priest/religious was a different case altogether.

    18. Christ or Chaos Blog by Doc around the Clock--another fellow traveler, was trying to tag the old Franciscan too. This crowd is always "visiting" wondering if any uncashed checks might be laying around.
Mob guys pay bill with signed uncashed checks of other people.

      Delete
    19. Don't know about checks.
Christ or Chaos does take credit cards though.
Don't know what kind of Doctor he is, the blog says he was an "adjunct" professor in New York somewhere, (with the Bonannos?).

    20. Christ or Chaos was started in 2004--Big Joey Massino was Boss at that time.

      Delete
    21. Dr. Chaos also does road trips (with photos).
Like Zed he did one through Louisiana.
Question: Who is boss now in New Orleans?

      Delete
    22. In 2004 Anthony Carollo was boss in New Orleans.
And yes, New Orleans at one time was tied to Chicago, thus the Cedaka, Franciscan connection--I think the Chicago West Side crew.
(Zed was in Chicago not too long ago, but I think for vestments only, and maybe, (In Red)just maybe, gas and hot dog money).

    23. I am glad Fr. D is the only blog I know open to a mobbed up explanation for Z and company.
What if the Toiletovacantist (or the Occupados) are just using a blog for cash, either to keep up payments on the Lexus or a party house somewhere in town. What if they are Novus Ordos that flipped like Big Joey Massino and went into Witness Protection.
How can you really tell, if they all just rehash the same material there maybe nothing to this movement at all. Just send cash, we will supply the degree or the cleaning supplies, or the training, or the sedetoileto or (occupado) books--yes they still have cassette tapes, vestments and blogs.
It appears only mobbed up toiletos can afford to get a good education--sort of like when they pay for law school for their own.

      Delete
    24. Another Toiletovacantist associated with Sedaka, and the Vietnamese CIA bishop AND the well aged "Franciscan", is Francis Miller also of Louisiana--man, there is no creativity with these guys--Miller a former T.V.-Franciscan, T.V.-Benedictine who officiated in Wisconsin at the funeral of the 90+ fugitivus "Franciscan", in 2013.
Sedaka in one blog quotes Miller as a good source as to the validity of these particular cold war ordinations.
Note: Oliver North was not involved, nor ever in Louisiana as far as I can tell.
Note: The Mob was really ticked off when the casinos in Iran were closed after the Shah came back from France, although I believe not when Sedaka was there.

    1. Mr. Zuhlsdorf,

While I have no objection to any woman or man consuming the fruit of the vine or God's gift of grain enhanced by fermentation I do find it objectionable that you as a man of the cloth be encouraging of it.

      What's your intention?

  8. Lacy Boy’s rant about the Rome diocese pastoral application of Amoris Laetitia reflects nothing of him every being a member of a tribunal. It indicates very clearly that he is profoundly ignorant of fundamental Catholic pastoral and sacramental theology especially it’s standard doctrines on the primacy of conscience and the integrity of the Internal Forum. More reasons why Zuhlsdorf should never be permitted to have pastoral care of Catholics anywhere. In my view, he should not have been granted faculties to hear confessions.

    1. That's why training in the US, monitored by the USCCB is geared to weeding out the potential losers.
Zed was not part of that. Possibly just jamming all the signals of those poor Europeans with great plans and schemes and "you are cooperating the the reformation of the US Church by ordaining me" con to iron out any doubts among the smarter ones who might question motivation.
Also a bit of old time smoke and mirrors for flashing the "down home" human side to ratchet down the big plan themes--"See I can be with the laity (Verbally in Red)IF I so desire".

    2. My respect for Bishop Morlino actually has grown by a hair's breadth because he hasn't let Z take charge of a parish.

    3. Parish? He is still being checked out. There is no one in Madison that can test a scam like his. Unless they engage Ryan Bullshit Gevelinger.
It is the reason he is always traveling, to find out if anyone else has ever worked his con before, and, pick up a few pointers on the way.
Once the Madison Diocese begins a ministry to sociopath narcissists Zed will assume a middle management position; a 9:45 AM to 1:45 PM clerical job with weekends off and first dibs on potential seminary vocations.

    4. I thought the ministry to sociopath narcissists was called "Moderator of the Curia" in all US dioceses. Will they truly let Father Z do that? Quelle horreur!
