THE REFORM OF THE REFORM OF THE REFORM

ROMAN CURIA LENTEN RETREAT 2013

ROMAN CURIA LENTEN RETREAT 2015

HEADS EXPLODING after 2013 became 2015

You will ask why no nonsense from Francis was published today.
The answer is that it appears the man has gone in mini-retreat in Ariccia, a nice place outside Rome (note here: not Castengandolfo; that’s too much “Renaissance Prince”), with some of his bravi.
This one being a Jesuit, it is sold as a “penitential retreat”. Which, seen that we aren’t stupid, means that it is a strategic retreat to discuss in peace and without unwanted ears with his fedelissimi about what to do in the months to come.
What to do, then? Continue with the “offensive of mercy” and hope both the bishops and the laity decide it’s the convenient thing to do, therefore they will support Francis? Or elaborate an elegant exit plan, by which the social issues and bla bla are slowly allowed to completely take the place of the Communion For Adulterers row?
We shall see.
Ariccia is very famous for two things: the porchetta and the bridge. The first is a traditional pork roast, of which the place is the undisputed capital. The second is a very tall, actually beautiful bridge, once notorious (and still known) for the suicides, and aptly called by the people “ponte dei suicidi”.
That website will tell you about all you really need to know when it comes to the Traditional Catholic Movement. All right there in a NUTshell.

About the Author of that blog in his own words: You’ll have understood by now that this is no place for misguided ecumenism, false kindness or diluted Catholicism. This is the blog of a conservative Catholic. A very conservative one. This blog’s aim is to allow true, traditional, unadulterated, strictly orthodox Catholic doctrine to be made available in a world suffocating more and more in political correctness and “feel-good”, “everything goes”, “let us not upset anyone” so-called Catholicism.

  1. Has everyone seen the utterly creepy picture of the Latin rite Ukrainian bishops kneeling before Pope Emeritus Benedict. When I saw that picture all I could think was umm... guys, the nice elderly man isn't in charge. So I think that the opposition to Francis is more serious than a few closeted and clearly mentally disturbed bloggers.

  2. I am more and more convinced that Francis has so unhinged the Faithful to the Pope and Magisterium crowd of the JP II-BXVI era that a great number of them are either now psychologically in the Econe-Zone or are on the way.

Zuhlsdorf and his ilk are acting as travel agents for the rest while secretly believing that it might be a nice place to visit but you wouldn't want to live there. Not enough dough or favourable conditions.

  3. Just looked at this posting on old Honey Whiskers blog:

    http://liturgicalnotes.blogspot.com/2015/02/its-gun-culture-down-there-in-wild-west.html

You really have to wonder if the sad old dear likes ANYTHING at all about the Roman Catholic Church except that it gives him a chance to strut about and pontificate in a way that "sticks it in the eye" of his old Anglican buddies. I imagine the Catholic hierarchy of the UK wonders why Benedict evert inflicted such weirdoes on them and what to do when their anti-Papal ravings get to be way too much to tolerate, even in charity.

  4. As I suggested above, the drift into schism is becoming quite pronounced now. This bit of nostalgia moaning, groaning and keening comes from the Epiponderous Flower Box,

"Pope Benedict XVl is still a Pope and it is he who I continue to look for guidance on the path to heaven. All he said and done continues to stand solid as the Rock of the Papacy as willed by Christ. I can't deny that the last two years have been that of a darkness which blankets the world. Pope Benedict XVl come back home where you belong!"

"Anonymous, Benedict is where he belongs and where Jesus wants him to be for the moment. He will lead the remnant Church in exile, eventually."

  5. It would appear, Fr D, that someone at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's RELIGION AND ETHICS REPORT has been reading your blog!

  6. Never to miss an opportunity to do some more heavy lifting of his enormous ego, Lacy Boy indulges in yet another round of monumental dissemblance and manipulation.
He is now in a position to reveal, for the first time in English, the truth about the great 5 Cardinals Book heist. He's known about it all the time but he's now in a position to tell all. What he does not divulge to the generous donors is that the limp wristed Eponymous Flower had already blown the whistle.

The real intentions of the roaming Garbage Guts (TM) are evident: a golden opportunity to pimp more copies of the Synod changer (TM). Just get a load of the blue link buttons on the Zippo Sitz. That should pay for the pastrami and Chinese to say nothing of the adult beverages in Chicago:

I have wanted to write about this for soooooo long now.

Kathnet broke this, in German HERE.

Kathnet is referenced regularly in Eponymous Flower by the shit livered Tancred to spread Econe spiced hysteria, traditionalist 'martyrdom' bulletins and other items geared to stir up the passions of the weak minded and easily led. Kathnet is probably a feeder source for the closet Mundabor as well given that it is forever suggesting the world wide 'aberrosexual' conspiracy.

  7. I was wondering if any of you are aware of another Krazy Katholic Konver blog run by another closeted queen emanating from the Rochester diocese. It can be found at cleansingfire.org. They have toned it down now since a fellow traveler is occupying the Rochester cathedra (though his feet can barely reach the floor). But in the heady days of the Clark tenure, oh, were they ever so vigilant in their rubrical and venereal preoccupations. But trust me, the main blogger, a certain "Dr. K" sang in one too many choirs, if you get my drift.

  8. While I agree with this blog's lampooning of Zuzuhldorf, a vulgarian chancer with no real religion about him at all, the pointless attacks on Pope emeritus Benedict XVI are in my view mistaken and smack of bitter hubris. Francis is deceptive, Benedict XVI was not. The "extravagant" vestments used by Benedict XVI have been in Vatican ownership for decades or more, it cost him nothing to simply choose from the existing stock, while the "simple" vestments Francis uses have been specially made for him new, at cost - which is more Christian? Again, in the photographs used above, how much did it cost to (securely) bus Francis & Co. to wherever that retreat was taking place? What's the point? When facilities in the Vatican/Papal palaces already exist for such things, again, at no or little cost to anyone because they're pre-existing? Francis' "humility" is vanity dressed up as humility, Benedict XV's humility was not.

    1. Actually Francis' vestments are from the Vatican collection as well. He tends to use the modern vestments that Paul VI and John Paul II wore rather than the ridiculous ones favored by Benedict. And he does so because the lacy and sparkly vestments would look even more ridiculous on a working class Argentine pastor than they did on a German intellectual.

And the point of going on a retreat is to be on a retreat and to be away from the world. That is why it isn't being held in the Vatican.

    4. Hey Wolfie-- (I used to have a dog named Wolfie. Not very bright nor very obedient, but a great companion) Thanks for visiting. We really appreciate it. If what we write or discuss offends you, we ask your forgiveness and prayers, and remind you that visiting here is a choice.
Enter the discussion. Offer something of substance or at least something that makes us laugh.
Think about it. Would you enter a room at a cocktail party and scream "Faggots! Self loathing faggots!" and then walk out? Rather unrefined.

Even when I post a comment to Father Hunwicke's blog (which he never approves, but I still enjoy attempting to communicate with the old dear) I always attempt to remain on topic, and offer something to the conversation. Certainly if someone as rude crude and unrefined as I am can do so, a man of such true and devoted faith as yourself can do so too?
      Thanks.

    2. It's confusing to me.
A "bunch of faggots" would indicate a multiple number of bundles of sticks would it not? Perhaps several bundles gathered together?
